Thanks to Luke Wilson of Luke Wilson Special Events, and Katie and Lyle, who were generous enough to share their wedding with all of us, we’re tying this week up with a big, beautiful, feminine, romantic bow of a wedding! Katie and Lyle’s Big Day, captured by Charlotte Elizabeth, took place at the Daniel Island Club overlooking the sweeping marshlands of the Lowcountry locale. A raised platform adorned with a stunning floral arch formed the altar where Lyle awaited his bride, who didn’t disappoint in an amazing lace and silk Amsale ballgown, and carrying a bouquet of peonies, snapdragons, and hydrangeas in the softest of blush hues. After exchanging vows, the newlyweds and their guests headed inside the clubhouse, where mahogany chivari chairs surrounded white-washed farm tables lit by with crystal candelabras and mercury glass votives, and, dressed with more peonies compliments of SYG Designs. Cocktail tables draped in ruffled linens from Nuage Designs were scattered around the grounds when guests took a breather from the dance party that ensued once Phase Band started to play. To cap off the night, Katie and Lyle cut into a stunner of a bloom-covered cake by Ashley Bakery. Just trust us, if you’re one of those blush-lovin’, romance-cravin’, glam-obsessed brides, then get ready to swoon.
