Things you can count on in the Lowcountry: delicious oyster roasts done right … and the masterful planning and design skills of the ladies at A Charleston Bride. Today’s couple, Jill and Alex, counted on both of those truths when it came to their Kiawah Island rehearsal dinner at Mingo Point, and the result was nothing short of fabulous. Even though they had to dodge the rain, it’s evident from every image by Sean Money + Elizabeth Fay that this pre-wedding evening of celebration was a beautiful blast. Some of my favorite takeaways would be how planner Haley Kelly glammed up the existing picnic tables with a bold, preppy orange and white fabric stapled to the tabletops—genius. Throw in mint julep cups overflowing with citrus-hued blooms and The Deadfields serenading the guests all night, and this fete was one pretty success. Cheers, Jill and Alex!
