09 May Jessica & Brad {McCrady’s}
Let’s start this lovely May week with Jessica and Brad’s sweet Charleston wedding by amelia + dan. Jessica, who spent her morning getting her hair and makeup perfected by Lashes and Lace and kisses from her adorable pup, looked a vision in her strapless lace and tulle gown. With her bouquet of Juliet garden roses and hydrangea in hand, she walked down a grassy aisle at the Confederate Home and College and said “I do” to Brad. The newlyweds then joined their guests for a bagpipe procession to a reception at McCrady’s, just a few blocks away on Unity Alley. After pausing for portraits along the stroll there, Jessica and Brad headed upstairs to the long room where Pretty Petals of Charleston had added touches of greenery to the mantel and bud vases and lanterns to the dining tables for a simple and elegant look. Delicious dinner (really, we’re talking McCrady’s here!), countless cupcakes, and a dance party later, Jessica and Brad exited down the brick alley amidst shining sparklers to cap off their wedding day in the loveliest of fashions. Cheers to the newlyweds!
