Emily & Jonathan {Cypress Trees Plantation}

By Andraya Northrup | December 02, 2011

OH. MY. GOSH. If your wedding~tastic week needed an inspiration exclamation point, then look no further. The mavens of gorgeous at A Charleston Bride designed this Edisto affair under the canopy of grand cypress trees and it brimmed with a traditional casual elegance. The darling bride added personal touches to the day including the creation of the Edisto Sunset cocktail and hand cutting and sewing with her mother all of the burlap table runners. And to add the perfect amount of sweetness to the soiree, Emily, a lifelong South Carolina native, and Jonanthan who was born in South Africa and grew up in UK, served cookies from each location at the end of the night as favors….love!

    Such a sweet and fun couple! We loved the simplicity of the tent with the “branchy” uplighting.

    I was there to see my beautiful niece get married. The pictures are beautiful but the day had so much love in it ( no pun intended) that it cannot be captured on film. we had a glorious time soaking in all the details.
