19 Jun Elizabeth & Ryan | Cannon Green
Elizabeth and Ryan like to tongue-in-cheek joke that they met at the most romantic place in the world—an Irish pub in Boston. But who’s knocking it when after hours of chatting that first night, they began a five-year romance that led to their charming Charleston wedding this past April? This sweet couple knew that they wanted to celebrate in a classic, welcoming, and tad bit modern style, so Cannon Green, the chic restaurant-venue nestled on Spring Street downtown, was a perfect fit. Cruz Coordination got all the details in place while Tiger Lily Weddings flooded the day with a bevy of blooms. Once Elizabeth and Ryan were named husband and wife (by officiant Kristen Barner of Wedding Belle Rev), the partying kicked off with a cocktail hour on the courtyard with drinks and bites from the Cannon Green kitchen. Inside, long tables were ”planted” with stems of Italian ruscus and round dining tables boasted beautiful garden-style arrangements of white and peach florals. Oh, and each place setting also featured a beautiful printed menu topped with a sprig of olive, the same greenery that surrounded each of the tiers on their WildFlour Pastry wedding cake. Pure perfection! Add in The Bluestone Ramblers, who kept the bluegrass tunes coming all night long, and stylish departure for the newly minted Mr. and Mrs. a la Lowcountry Valet & Shuttle, and whew, are we enamored with Elizabeth and Ryan’s way of tying the knot!
