Ahhh…a real wedding…and a beach, I love it! Sarah and Chris had no trouble selecting the perfect place for their wedding, and who can argue. The day began with an outdoor bridesmaid brunch at the Sea Island Grill. Afterwards, she treated her girls to the Board Walk Inn Presidential Suite that was stocked full of treats for a casual afternoon over looking the pool. In addition to this casual decadence, were hair and make up professionals in attendance to perfect everyone’s look…pure bliss.
The ceremony was officiated by the shore on a beautiful sunny afternoon at the Grand Pavilion of Wild Dunes Resort. Sarah wore a stunning strapless gown and she selected strapless party dresses (with pockets) for the bridesmaids, all from The Gown Boutique of Charleston. The guests were treated to a cocktail hour by the pool while MCG Photography captured family and bridal party photos.
Samantha Hazzard Martin is Wild Dunes wedding planner and she was present throughout the whole day to insure perfection in every detail. She seemlessly moved the guests to the main event in the ballroom of the Sweet Grass Pavilion where guests enjoyed a sit down dinner followed by a night of dancing to the sounds of The White Chocolate Band.
