Brittney & Christopher | The William Aiken House

Brittney & Christopher | The William Aiken House

There’s just something about a bride that shares her day with her family members that gets us every time (see Lenore here). Meet Brittney, today’s good egg. She and Christopher got married at The William Aiken House in a formal garden ceremony followed by a sit-down dinner inside the 18th-century mansion on King Street. But before their “I do’s,” the bride arranged for her parents to have their own “first look.” Why, you ask? Turns out Brittney’s parents exchanged vows in a courthouse and never had much in the way of fanfare or finery for their Big Day. So following their daughter’s directives, they donned formal wear (her an evening gown, him a tux) and they met under the arbor on the grounds of the manor house, photographer at the ready. After that sweet, tearful milestone, Brittney and Christopher headed down the aisle and initiated the evening’s celebration. Scroll on to see more of this heartfelt day made even more beautiful by Tiger Lily and MI Events and captured by Riverland Studios.
