Annie & Storm {Lowndes Grove Plantation}

Annie & Storm {Lowndes Grove Plantation}

You simply cannot miss the emotion that springs from these photographs. It is no secret that I ooze accolades to the talented professionals that are included in The Wedding Row. For good reason, they have been referred over and over again by their clients and colleagues in the industry. I knew before I met Leigh of Leigh Webber Photography that her work was unquestionably phenomenal. I must admit, I was a bit nervous at our first meeting but she graciously and immediately set me at ease as we snuggled into the comfy couches in her office. I could write columns of compliments about Leigh but her work speaks volumes. I will say that Leigh is a young “old soul.” It is evident in her every gesture and in her demeanor that she is affable but also focused and consistently searching for, “that moment.” Great photographers have an understanding and gift for, “that moment,”  that the rest us just may not see. “That moment,” is translated and ever present in her work. With no further adieu..please meet Annie and Storm

Leigh generously shared the details of this splendorous event…

{One thing I know for sure, Annie and Storm are crazy about each other. And, they have a pretty exciting life traveling around the world working on a yacht. They met a few years back when the ship Storm was working on made a stop in Charleston. He met Annie, a College of Charleston grad, and the next thing you know, Annie’s got a job on the ship too! The rest is history.

Having their wedding at Lowndes Grove in Charleston, SC was a destination wedding for these two. Storm is from South Africa and there were quite a few South African accents peppered in with other friends and crew mates from the UK and Australia.

WED put together a gorgeous ceremony and reception for Annie and Storm at Lowndes Grove. In lieu of a traditional wedding cake, cupcakes and petit fours were provided by Sugar Bakeshop.

Storm and Annie took a few moments in the house to spend a few minutes together absorbing and enjoying their new status as a married couple, before making their grand entrance.

The reception was held under a clear tent, draped with lights and fabric and with a view of the river. It was a warm evening for October, but it gave the guests a taste of the true Charleston.}
