How hard is it to take your eyes off of that delicious assortment of colorful blooms above? We know! But trust us when we tell you that there’s plenty more compliments of Amanda and Jason’s Southern soirée at Lowndes Grove Plantation. Amanda told us she wanted “a fresh spin on Southern vintage—a garden wedding with a bit more formality.” Well, planners RLE Charleston took her wishes to heart and fashioned an affair that was absolutely swoon-worthy and as comfortable as it was chic. After finding black velvet escort cards (tied to antique keys, thank you very much), guests were lead to tables covered in soft peachy-pink linens, surrounded by silver chivari chairs, and accented with Charleston Stems’ blooming arrangements of peonies, garden roses, and ranunculus. Jennifer Bearden Photography snapped such fabulous shots you’ll feel like you’re sitting right there along with the wedding party. A fresh take on Southern vintage? We think so! Oh, and we would be amiss not to point out Amanda’s knock-out Vera Wang gown—absolute bridal perfection.
