There really is something so romantic about a Charleston elopement. It’s no wonder that Boston couple Alyssa and Kane picked the Holy City as their getaway destination. With photographer (and witness), Britt Croft in tow, the lovebirds shared a first look downtown that evolved into a pre-ceremony portrait session along the city’s colorful historical streets. As the sun began to set, Alyssa and Kane headed to Boone Hall Plantation in Mount Pleasant to exchange their tender (and, at moments, tearful) vows. From Alyssa’s lace-back gown and bouquet of hydrangeas and peonies to Kane’s boutonniere pinned with a photo of his grandfather, these precious nuptials are nothing short of stunning. Thanks, you two, for reminding us there are so many ways to say “I do.”
